Bonnie Blue is an amazing spot that manages to be funky and authentic while serving some of the best southern breakfast favorites you’ll ever have. I had brisket (4 pieces) with scrambled eggs, home made bacon, potatoes and a spectacular biscuit. Our table also ordered shrimp & grits, hush puppies and French toast - all delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Oh, and the coffee was first rate. If you’re driving through Winchester or are lucky enough to live nearby, this is your place!

I was looking for a nice place to have a great meal while in Winchester, and came across this cafe on goggle, I was extremely blown away by how fantastic this food is. Even got some to go. The people that run it are amazing. I had a fantastic waiter. I really do not have one bad thing to say. The whole experience was wonderful and I plan on going back before I head north and will also go there when back in Winchester!

I was driving through town on other business and stopped by this cute spot for dinner and super happy I did! Ordered the Beef Brisket dinner, comes with two sides; I chose Mac and cheese and potato salad. Cute cornbread muffin added as well. I was excited to see brisket on a menu in VA as I haven’t really seen the option since living in Austin TX over a decade ago. Generous portions and friendly service. Kristy was super welcoming and her staff were all hellos and smiles too. Great spot to visit! They have indoor and outdoor seating! Good vibes all around.

Really wanted breakfast food but arrived around 1pm on a Thursday and breakfast is done before served by 11:30am. They do all day breakfast on weekends. We went into the entrance by the parking lot which (at a quick glance) was kind of like a grungy cafe style. They directed us around to the other side through the deck. There were a couple of tables being used outside and just 2 being used inside- pretty slow which was great for us. We ordered the catfish, Mac n cheese, fried oysters.. my family got the brisket and collard greens which is prepared with pork meat. We enjoyed it all. It even comes with a bread of your choice like a biscuit or cornbread for example. The servers were all kind to us and welcoming. The food was nice and hot and tasted freshly prepared. For the 3 of us, the bill came to 68 with beverages and that extra side of 5 pieces of oysters. We gave a 20 tip. Good experience overall. Would definitely go back. Oh the “come back” sauce is yummy!

Incredible BBQ that could make any Texan smile and leave completely satisfied. The portions were generous, and every bite was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving top-notch barbecue.

Absolutely one of the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! I got the crab cake and egg plate, and it was marvelous. So much food for the price, and every single bite of it was made to perfection. I’m not ever a “go to the same place twice while I’m in a new town person,” but we are definitely having breakfast here again before we leave! Service was excellent, as well. Our server was Chelsea (I hope! I lost my receipt and I’m terrible remembering names), and she was absolutely lovely. SUPER on top of the menu items and checked on us kindly but not too often. 10/10 for her and the food.

First visit to Bonnie Blue and definitely not the last. On our way to Natural Bridge, VA, we stopped for lunch. The Brisket (17.99) and the Fried Chicken (13.99) entrees each came with 2 side dishes and a choice of bread, and they were delicious. Small seating inside but there's an outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer. The service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere has a definite southern vibe to it.

Found Bonnie Blue on my way to a car show. I am very glad we stopped. The service was impeccable. The staff is very friendly and the food is all made there. It was excellent. I would suggest if you are visiting Winchester to stop by and check it out. I will definitely be back if I am around that area. They have breakfast and lunch. BBQ was the best I’ve ever had and the brisket was delicious as well. You can also order pints of food and sides to take with you. They also have alcohol if interested and hats and shirts to purchase
